Donald Trump Fires Apprentice Contestant for Using Offensive Remark
Donald Trump may be watching his reality show “The Apprentice” take a beating in the ratings but he certainly won’t keep self deprecating contestants around for the publicity. On Sunday night Trump uttered his famous “You’re Fired” phrase directly at Derek Artera for his proclamation that he was “white trash.”
Artera made the “white trash” comment while in the boardroom trying to defend his idea of having go-karts at a demonstration show for a new Lexus sedan. Artera opted to use the “white trash” defense to explain his idea.
Trump was none to pleased with the remark, calling it offensive and firing Artera on the spot.
In such high spirits after one firing Trump elected to go with the double whammy and tossed Jenn Hoffman of the show for being a miserable Project Manager.
“The Apprentice” has yet to achieve the ratings high that it once commanded and may be on its way out but Trump has insisted that the show is doing well.
