Anna Nicole Smith Burial Site Becoming Tourist Destination
Less than three days after Anna Nicole Smith was buried at Lakeview Memorial Park in the Bahamas her final resting spot has become one of the most visited sites on the island.
Smith, 39, was buried next to her son, Daniel, on Friday after a long legal battle surrounding where her remains should rest. Her mother, Virgie Arthur, had contested that Smith should be buried in Texas while Howard K. Stern had argued that she wanted to be next to her son.
The legal battle was ended when Arthur’s last minute appeal of a judge’s decision was rejected and the burial of Smith was cleared.
Taxi drivers on the island have already said that the gravesite has become the most popular requested site to visit.
