Maclaren Stroller Recalled For Dangerous Hinge

Maclaren strollers are recalling 1 million strollers sold between 1999 and 2009. The British company issued the massive recall after receiving a dozen reports of children’s fingers getting amputated in a hinge on the strollers.

Parents are advised to stop using Maclaren strollers immediately until they obtain a repair kit and hinge cover from Maclaren. The company is offering the repair kit online and by phone beginning tomorrow.

The model numbers of the recalled products will also be released tomorrow. No other details were available.
