To find potential buyers for their luxury oceanfront condominiums starting at $6.2 million, the developers of Regalia on Sunny Isles Beach headed for Utah. In January, they sponsored a premier party at the Sundance Film Festival for the movie "King of California" starring Michael Douglas and Evan Rachel Wood that drew 300 guests and generated celebrity media buzz.

Regalia has 40 single-floor residences that include more than 2,000 square feet of terrace space. The 42-story oceanfront condominium north of Miami Beach (Sunny Isles Beach) is the last oceanfront property before Golden Beach and was designed by Arquitectonica.

All units are approximately 5,515 sq. ft. and buyers can choose to have a layout of 4 or 5 bedrooms. Condominiums will have 360 degrees of spectacular oceanfront and Intracoastal views.

Prices will go up approximately $28,000.00 per floor; the penthouse starts at $14,450,000.00.

At these prices, the potential buyer is assured that they will find him or herself among peers of same statue, may it be a Hollywood celebrity or beacon of industry.

Amenities include an infinity-edge swimming pool, gardens and fountains, an oceanfront gazebo with poolside shower and spa, private beachfront cabanas and a fitness center overlooking the Atlantic. The imagery is still interpretative but, sales are taking off.

Some say the undulating surfaces recall ocean waves, their movement and form frozen: cool yet friendly; regular yet random; geometric yet soft. Others see the tower as organic.

Like a rock crystal shaped by ocean breezes eroded into a natural form. Water and wind shape this architecture. Regalia is expected to be completed in 2009.
