The Golden State Warriors (27-35) got 29 points from Jason Richardson and 16 points and 10 rebounds from Al Harrington to beat the Detroit Pistons (37-21) 111-93. The win snapped the Warriors six-game losing streak and gave them a two-game season sweep of the Eastern Conference’s best team.
Golden State trailed much of the first half but used a 15-2 run in the final three minutes to grab a 61-55 lead at the break.
The Warriors opened up a 17 point lead in the early stages of the third quarter and never gave Detroit a chance to get back in the game.
Andris Biedrins finished 6-6 from the floor for 12 points and 10 rebounds and Stephen Jackson ended up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the win.
Lindsey Hunter led the Pistons with 20 points.
