Tim Duncan had 9 points and 12 rebounds while Manu Ginobili added 16 points and 8 boards to lift the San Antonio Spurs (42-18) past the Los Angeles Clippers (29-31) 88-74 for their ninth straight victory.
San Antonio got a lot of help from their reserves as they outscored the starters 49-39. Beno Udrih scored 16 points for the Spurs and Michael Finley added 10 points to lead the bench’s attack.
The Clippers struggled from the floor, shooting just 38 percent from the floor and 12 percent from beyond the three-point line. Corey Maggette led the Clippers with 19 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.
