Several Gold Companies Rose in Monday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top gold companies rose in trading in Monday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies all rose by noon in trading:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) rose $1.39, or 3.3 percent, to $43.02.

Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 60 cents, or 4.3 percent, to $14.60.

Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose $2.81, or 6.8 percent, to $44.04.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose $2.02, or 4.1 percent, to $51.06.
