Fruitvale Station, starring Michael B. Jordan, Octavia L. Spencer, Melonie Diaz, Kevin Durand and Ahna O'Reilly, opens in theaters Friday, July 12. The drama tells the true story of Oscar Grant, a 22-year-old Bay Area man who was killed by a police officer at the Fruitvale subway stop on New Year’s Day 2009.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 25 minutes and is rated R for some violence, language throughout and some drug use.
