Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Jason Terry added 24 points as the Dallas Mavericks (51-9) beat the New Jersey Nets (28-33) 102-89 for their 14th straight win.
The Mavericks once again used a balanced attack as seven players score in double-figures and they shot 48 percent from the floor including 41 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Erick Dampier led the Mavs on the board with 14 rebounds to go with his 12 points.
New Jersey held a four point lead with just over three minutes remaining in the third but Jason Terry gave the Mavs the lead for good with a three-point play with 2:35 remaining in the quarter.
Vince Carter led the Nets with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists while Jason Kidd finished with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
