Benito’s Old Bricktucky Cayenne - 2009 Hot Pepper Awards

Ole Benito Takes 3rd Place

Benito’s Old Bricktucky Cayenne has won third place in the mild hot sauce category in the 2009 Hot Pepper Awards!

The Hot Pepper Awards is an international competition that accepts entries in the following categories:
Hot Sauce, BBQ Sauce, Salsa, Dry Rubs, Spicy Snacks and more. The Old Bricktucky Cayenne is a unique blend of fresh red bell peppers, garlic, sweet white onions, organic lime juice, organic cinnamon, organic paprika and organic cayenne peppers.

This sauce was inspired at the Laughing Burrito Restaurant in Caldwell, NJ back in 2003. Benito was attempting to perfect a savory sweet hot sauce that would be the ultimate addition to barbecued chicken, ribs and pulled pork sandwiches. The most mild of Benito’s sauces, the OBC has a distinct flavor that is unlike anything on the market today. It turned out to be quite versatile and is even a great addition to foods that one would not normally put hot sauce on like donuts and funnel cakes. As one fan recently put it… “Old Bricktucky Cayenne was a force of nature unchecked and absent from our existence up until the moment of it’s birth in the mind of Benito. Bravo!” – Dave Healey (NYC)…..

The one thing that sets
Benito's Hot Sauce apart from others is the process in which it is made. All 100% natural with organic ingredients and all bottled by Benito. This product does not get shipped off to a processing plant, but is made with love.
You won't find the quality and freshness anywhere else. If you have been looking for a hot sauce that won't burn your mouth, but instead invigorate your taste buds, then give Benito's Old Bricktucky Cayenne a try
