Big Brother 15 Week 2: MVP And POV Recap

Fresh off of Aaryn’s nomination ceremony, Helen and Elissa realize they will have to make a big move in order to save themselves this week. Their best hope is one of them winning the POV and forcing Aaryn to make another nomination. Helen’s first move is approaching Aaryn about working together in the future if she stays. Aaryn is open to the idea. She feels their partnership would be an advantage because it would be unexpected.

Elissa and Helen gain another advantage when Elissa discovers that she is MVP for the second week in a row. The pair immediately begins brainstorming about the best course of action. Helen feels it would be best to nominate Jeremy first so they don’t lose their chance to put him on the block. If he wins POV, their back up plan will be to nominate Kaitlin.

Meanwhile, Candice is convinced there is an all boys alliance in the house consisting of at least Jeremy, Nick and Spencer. She suspects the group is being led by Nick. Candice pushes for Elissa to target the boys.

Just before players for the POV competition are picked, Jeremy’s nomination is revealed. Nick and Amanda are chosen to play for POV along with Aaryn, Elissa, Helen and Jeremy. GinaMarie will serve as the host. Jeremy is overly confident that he will dominate the competition, which makes Elissa second guess her decision to nominate him. In an effort to tip the scales in her and Helen’s favor, Elissa approaches Nick with a deal to throw the competition in exchange for safety for the next two weeks. Nick agrees to the deal, but has no intention of honoring it.

The POV competition is a nursery themed challenge in which the players are tasked with making a mobile buy using stuffed animals to balance the mobile’s bars. The first player to balance their mobile where none of the stuffed animals are touching their crib wins the Power of Veto.

Everyone struggles are the beginning, but soon Helen and Jeremy are making progress. Amanda thinks she has it twice, but both times her animals were touching the crib. Jeremy is the first to figure out that the key to the mobile is putting the heavier animals on top and the smaller animals on the bottom. He wins the POV.

After the competition, Kaitlin is paranoid that she will be nominated in Jeremy’s place. This prompts Jeremy to threaten his fellow Moving Company members. He promises each of them that he will back out of the alliance if they don’t evict Elissa this week. Jeremy’s threats make the other guys doubt he is good for the alliance.

Candice continues campaigning for Elissa to nominate another guy. Elissa narrows down her choices to Kaitlin and Nick. She ultimately makes Nick the replacement nominee.
