Teenager Shoots Ex-Girlfriend, Self, in High School Parking Lot
A 17-year-old man shot his ex-girlfriend four times before fatally shooting himself in a high school parking lot on Wednesday morning.
The mother of the girl had just dropped her daughter off at H.H. Dow High School in Midland, Michigan and was still in the car when the teenager shot her daughter.
Reports have said that the shooter was not a student at the school and had been turned away by school officials when he attempted to enter the building. He then called his ex-girlfriend and asked her to meet him outside. When she did he reached into a backpack and shot her four times.
After the shooting began the girl’s mother tried to drive her car between the two to protect her daughter. The victim was taken to a hospital where her condition is unknown at this time.
