Narconon, one of the largest drug rehabilitation and prevention groups in the world has just released a new public service announcement to help those plagued by the ever-growing problem of drug and alcohol addiction. The announcement, produced by Dolce Films, tells the story of the negative consequences of addiction and offers services through Narconon drug rehab.

“The latest drug statistics tell the story of addiction in our country. An estimated 20.1 million Americans aged 12 or older used an illicit drug during a one month period,” Catton said. “This represents 8% of our population showing that now, more than ever, we have to get those addicted into drug rehabilitation programs that work.”
Some of the most common drugs of abuse include marijuana and hashish, cocaine, crack-cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens, inhalants, or prescription-type psychotherapeutics used non-medically. This is according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Administration Office of Applied Studies.
In addition the National Institute on Drug Abuse reports that an estimated 48 million people (ages 12 and older) have used prescription drugs for nonmedical reasons in their lifetimes. This accounts for approximately 20 percent of the
