The Cleveland Browns are expected to announce that Brady Quinn will be the team’s starting quarterback when they face the Baltimore Ravens next Monday.
Quinn started the first three games for the Browns before being benched for Derek Anderson. That move provided little relief for Cleveland as Anderson has gone 1-4 under center while throwing nine interceptions and just two touchdowns for a passer rating of 36.2 percent.
Coming off an ugly 30-6 loss to the Chicago Bears two weeks ago coach Eric Mangini said he would make his quarterback decision known on Wednesday.
