It’ll be a boy for Fergie and Josh Duhamel! Proud dad-to-be Duhamel revealed the baby’s gender while filming an upcoming episode of Live! With Kelly and Michael. When hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan held up pink and blue onesies, Duhamel took a quick poll from the audience.
“What do you guys think, boy or girl?" he asked.
After receiving cheers for each, Duhamel grabbed the blue onesie and held it up for the camera.
Fergie, 38, announced her pregnancy on Twitter in February. "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump,” she wrote.
Two months later, Duhamel called the pregnancy “a beautiful thing.” "We are over the moon about it," Duhamel said on Chelsea Lately. "We've been trying for this for quite awhile.”
The 40-year-old actor recently told ET Canada he plans to be a very present dad. "I plan on taking [off] as much time as I can just before and as much time as possible after," the Safe Haven star said. "I can't imagine having a kid and then not being able to be there. That would just drive me crazy. My head would be at home with mom and baby."
The Live! episode featuring Duhamel will air Wednesday, July 17.
