Kim Kardashian has finally broken her silence about newborn daughter North West. In a blog post Wednesday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star said she is enjoying motherhood. She also thanked well wishers for their “sweet thoughts.”
“These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I’m enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family,” she wrote. “I’ve been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment.”
Kardashian, 32, delivered North on June 15 about 5 weeks ahead of her due date. The usually open star did not release a statement about North’s arrival and has yet to release a picture of the newborn. Kardashian has remained holed up in her mother’s Calabasas home since bringing North home from the hospital. Insiders say Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West have found a rental home to move in to while renovations on their Bel Air mansion are completed.
“Kim and Kanye have finally settled on a temporary mansion for their family to move into. It should be ready for them to move in the next two weeks. It’s over 8,000 square feet and offers complete privacy, which was a big concern of Kanye’s. The security system is being upgraded and Nori’s nursery is being outfitted with surveillance cameras,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
