Miley Cyrus’ parents have had a change of heart – they won’t be ending their 19 year marriage after all. One month after Tish Cyrus’ divorce filing, the couple confirms they are calling off the split thanks to successful couples therapy.
"We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together. We both went into couples therapy something we haven't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways,” Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus says in a statement. "Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We've had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work."
This was the Cyrus’ second divorce filing. They previously filed in 2010, but reconciled months later. In addition to Miley, the couple has two other children together – Braison, 19, and Noah, 13. Tish is also mom to 2 children from a previous relationship – Brandi, 26, and Trace, 24.
