What is Cornerstone Sustainable Energy, LLC.’s (Stock Symbol: RCVA) PwrCor™ Engine and How Does it Work?

The Cornerstone Sustainable Energy, LLC.’s (Stock Symbol: RCVA) PwrCor™ Engine is a thermal hydraulic engine that operates without combustion and is fueled solely using hot water. The purpose of the engine is to drive pumps and generators with less energy and more efficiency than other more conventional methods and the engine can perform this task in a much more economic way than even other alternative energy engines.

Sustainable Energy’s Pwrcor™ Engine has a three step process that begins with the collection of heated water which then enters a heat exchanger. After that, the heat from the water is transferred to the working fluid. The working fluid can be anything with a high enough coefficient of expansion, but typically it is CO2 in its liquefied state. As the fluid expands the piston goes up into the cylinder providing power. Then the liquid cools and contracts and the cycle starts from the top.

The optimum differential between hot and cold water being applied to the Engine’s heat exchanger can be anywhere between 185°F and 85°F. This heat can come from virtually any source from geothermal heat, to solar heat to thermal energy recovery (waste heat).

This also makes the Pwrcor™ Engine one of the greenest technologies because does not operate using fossil fuels and therefore produces absolutely zero emissions or pollution. Even better is that it can reduce the emissions of existing installations by running off of the heat they produce all while optimizing their own efficiency.
