Taking full advantage the Walter Reed Army Medical Center debacle, Hillary Clinton has called for a new GI “Bill of Rights” and stated that Democrats are better equipped to handle the needs of U.S. military troops.
Delivering a speech on Thursday at the Center for American Progress, Clinton stated “I am here to say that if the buck does not stop with this president, I assure you, it will stop with the next president.”
Clinton has said that she would ensure that the well-being of each individual inside the military as well as their family would be established with her new plan. The senator turned presidential hopeful said the “Bill of Rights” would cover everything from troops being properly equipped to health benefits for the military and their families.
