Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis Breath Easier as Daughter Recovers

Lily-Rose, the seven-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, is recovering nicely after being treated for blood-poisoning as a result of stepping on a rusty nail.

For the past nine days the couple’s oldest child has been in the hospital and many reports had indicated that she was seriously ill.

Depp and Paradis released a statement through his publicist saying “The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy.”

The two have spent much of their time alongside their daughter’s bedside while she has undergone treatment.
