Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood up for “The Changeling”

Angelina Jolie is reportedly in talks to star in “The Changeling,” a movie based on the true events that surrounded a woman’s struggle to find her abducted son and then the discovery that the child returned to her was not her own. The discovery leads the woman to uncover wide-spread corruption in the 1920’s police department of Los Angeles.

The movie will be directed by Clint Eastwood and detail the abduction in Los Angeles and the subsequent discovery of corruption in the LAPD.

Jolie has had her hands full of late. The Academy Award winning actress for “Girl, Interrupted” recently completed work on “A Mighty Heart,” the film “Kung Fu Panda” is in post production as is “Beowulf” and she is set to star in the Ayn Rand classic. “Atlas Shrugged”.

Eastwood is coming of a Best Director nomination for the film “Letters from Iwo Jima,” an award he won for “Million Dollar Baby” in 2005 and “Unforgiven” in 1992. Eastwood is also in production with “Dirty Harry” which will co-star Gene Hackman and Laurence Fishburne.
