On a night when LeBron James scored 32 points and grabbed 8 rebounds it was his ninth assists that gave the Cleveland Cavaliers (37-25) a 94-92 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks (23-40).
James hit Anderson Varejao for a layup with 11 seconds left in the game to boost the Cavaliers lead to two. Varejao was fouled on the play but failed to hit the free-throw. Milwaukee had a chance to tie the game but Michael Redd missed a 13-footer in the closing seconds.
Cleveland had to comeback from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter and it was LeBron who got the Cavs on track with a three-pointer. James scored 14 points, had three assists, two steals and grabbed four rebounds in the final 8:23 of the game.
Drew Gooden had 13 points and 8 rebounds while Donyell Marshall added 19 points in the Cleveland victory. The Cavs are two games back of the Detroit Pistons for the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.
Michael Redd led the bucks with 29 points in the loss.
