There is little doubt that renewables are destined to contribute ore and more to our overall energy mix. From solar and wind to geothermal and marine energy, the culmination of these resource is going to provide the world with a significant portion of its power generation.
That said, no matter how advanced renewable energy technology becomes or how much cheaper production costs end up in the long term, renewable energy will only be as effective as the grid that carries it.
