Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) rose 92 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $42.79.
Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 29 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $14.39.
Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose 76 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $43.85.
Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose $1.30, or 2.6 percent, to $50.94.
