The Dallas Mavericks will be without Josh Howard indefinitely as the 6’7 forward continues to rehab his left ankle following surgery last May.
Howard made his season debut last Saturday but in his third game back he was pulled from the floor after he began limping noticeably.
The 29-year-old had minor reconstructive surgery to repair damage to the ankle and while he wanted to be ready for the start of the season it looks like he will spend the foreseeable future rehabbing. Howard missed 30 games last season and during that period the Mavericks went 17-13.
