Academy Award winning actor Sylvester Stallone is facing heavy fines for his involvement in transporting human growth hormones into Australia.
Stallone, 60, along with members of his entourage were held at Sydney airport on Feb. 16 after several vials of the hormone were discovered in their luggage. Stallone had been traveling to Australia to promote his film “Rocky Balboa” at the time of the incident.
Importing Human Growth Hormone without a permit is illegal in Australia.
The star the "Rocky" and "Rambo" franchises as well as “Demolition Man,” “Cliffhanger,” “Cop Land,” and “Judge Dredd,” is facing a fine up to $86,000 and five years in prison.
The case against Stallone was adjourned until April 24.
