Elysium, starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, Alice Braga and Diego Luna, opens in theaters Friday, August 9. The action film is set in the year 2154 when humanity is divided by wealth – the rich live on a luxury space station while the poor live on a ruined Earth. A man named Max takes on a risky mission that could prompt the return of equality.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 49 minutes and is rated R for strong bloody violence and language throughout.
