Leandro Barbosa scored 32 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and Shawn Marion added 14 points and 15 boards to lead the Phoenix Suns (49-14) past the Houston Rockets (39-25) 103-82. Phoenix had six players score in double figures as they won their fifth straight game and improved to 10-1 since the All-Star break.
Houston was able to get as close as 55-51 in the third quarter but Phoenix used a 9-2 run to bump their lead to 11 with 6:22 left in the period. The Rockets could manage just three field goals the rest of the period and trailed by 8 going into the fourth.
Phoenix put the game away in the final period after hitting six of their first eight shots to go up 87-73.
The Suns hit 50 percent of their shots from the field and held a 50-36 advantage on the glass.
Tracy McGrady had 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the Rockets.
