Marc Jacobs Latest in Line to Enter Rehab
Trend setting fashion designer Marc Jacobs entered a rehab center in Arizona to address his alcohol and drug addiction. The 43-year-old New Yorker had been sober for seven years but recently relapsed and felt he needed to address the issue quickly.
Jacobs was nominated for a pair of Council of Fashion Designers of America awards this year.
Robert Duffy, Jacobs’ business partner, commented “He'd been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away, according to the experts, such a relapse isn't uncommon. Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him.”
It is believed that Jacobs will remain in treatment until April.
