Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ADR) (NYSE:ASX) plunges 5.62% to $4.37 after the company along with its two subsidiaries, J&R Holding Limited and ASE Test Limited announced ASE's Board of Directors has resolved to launch a cash and stock tender offer to buy all of the outstanding common shares of Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. at NT$21 per share. USI's shareholders will receive 0.34 ASE common shares, owned by ASE's two subsidiaries, for each USI common share plus cash (equivalent to NT$21 less 0.34 multiplied by the lowest of the average trading price of ASE's common shares on the first, third and fifth day prior to the closing date of the tender offer).

Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ:NLST) plunges 11.86% to $5.50. The stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $6.09 and $5.33 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 1723%. Netlist, Inc., designs, manufactures and sells memory subsystems primarily for the server, high-performance computing and communications markets. The Company’s memory subsystems consist of dynamic random access memory integrated circuits, NAND flash memory and other components assembled on a printed circuit board.

QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIK) decreases 25.92% to $1.49 after the company announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with a select group of institutional investors to sell an aggregate of 4,305,929 shares of common stock and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 3,229,446 shares of common stock in a registered direct offering. The common stock and warrants will be sold in units (the Units), with each Unit consisting of (i) one share of common stock and (ii) a warrant to purchase 0.75 of a share of common stock, at a negotiated purchase price of $1.45 per Unit.
