MBIA Inc. is engaged in providing financial guarantee business through its wholly owned subsidiaries MBIA Corp. and MBIA Insurance Corp. of Illinois and conduct the investment management business through the Company and its subsidiaries.

 

Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. (NYSE:OHI) climbs up over 4.54% to $18.44 after the company announced that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with CapitalSource Inc. and several of its affiliates to purchase entities owning 80 long term care facilities (Facilities) for approximately $565 million. The purchase price includes a purchase option to acquire entities owning an additional 63 Facilities for approximately $295 million.
