Angelina Jolie Arrives in Vietnam, Set for Adoption Ceremony on Thursday

Angelina Jolie, the mother of two adopted children and a biological child with partner Brad Pitt, arrived in Vietnam late Wednesday night in preparation for adopting her third child.

Jolie and Pitt visited Vietnam over the Thanksgiving holidays and stopped by an orphanage where they met the three-year-old boy she plans to adopt. Jolie will be meeting with Vietnamese officials on Thursday to complete the adoption ceremony and then will meet with U.S. Consular officials to secure a passport for the child.

Adoption papers list Jolie as a single-parent, but Pitt would likely adopt the child in the near future.

The couple currently reside in New Orleans with their children Maddox, 5, adopted from Cambodia; Zahara, 2, adopted from Ethiopia; and their biological child Shiloh, ten-months.

The Academy Award winning actress recently completed “A Mighty Heart,” “Kung Fu Panda” and “Beowulf” and is in talks to work with Clint Eastwood in “The Changeling.”

Pitt, who has been nominated for an Academy Award, is set to star in “Ocean’s Thirteen” as well as “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in which his daughter, Shiloh, will make an appearance.
