"Do not let CF take control of Terra without paying full and fair value," Terra said.
Terra has been fighting off a buyout attempt by CF and rejected the Illinois-based company’s latest unsolicited takeover offer on Nov. 4. CF had offered $4.1 billion, but Terra said that was insufficient. CF has made five offers for Terra since January.
Terra shares increased 33 cents to $38.32. Earlier in the day shares reached $38.61, a new 52-week high. Shares of CF rose $1.84, or 2.2 percent, to $85.73 in afternoon trading
