Big Brother 15 Week 8 Nominations Recap: Aaryn Sticks With 3 A.M.

Aaryn’s fourth HOH wins puts her in a sticky situation – she is close to Helen, but is in the secret 3 A.M. alliance with Amanda, McCrae and Andy. The 3 A.M. alliance’s next target is Helen because Helen tried to get Andy to go after Amanda and McCrae last week.

Aaryn wants to put Elissa and Spencer on the chopping block, but Amanda basically tells her that it’s going to be Elissa and Helen. Aaryn doesn’t put up a fight. She seems to be more committed to the alliance than she was last week and even gives each member a name. Amanda is “The Mastermind,” McCrae is “The Enforcer,” Andy is “The Agent” and Aaryn is “The Beast.”

Meanwhile Elissa is struggling with her place in the game. She cries about missing her husband and son, so Helen tries to give her a pep talk about keeping her head in the game. The pep talk doesn’t go over well – Elissa ends up telling Helen that if she does get evicted she will go home instead of going to the jury house. Elissa’s confession makes Helen mad. Helen is upset that Elissa won’t be there to vote for her. She goes up to the HOH room and breaks down in front of everyone.

For the Have Not competition, the house is divided into two teams. Each team must find a key in total darkness inside a giant black box and then find their way back out to press a buzzer. The team that finds their key in the least amount of time are Haves for the week and the losers are Have Nots. It is Helen, Amanda, Elissa and GinaMarie against Aaryn, Spencer, McCrae and Andy. Aaryn the guys win with 3 minutes 41 seconds to the girls’ 7 minutes and 21 seconds.

Elissa swallows her pride and goes to the HOH room to talk to Aaryn about nominations. She insists that she wants to be there, but it is hard for her to go without her family and a yoga mat to exercise with. Aaryn promises Elissa that she isn’t the target. Helen then speaks to Aaryn about nominations. She assumes it will be Elissa and Spencer nominated, so she promises to not save Elissa with the POV should she win it this week.

At the nomination ceremony, Aaryn puts Elissa and Helen on the chopping block. She explains that they are a “power duo” that needs to be split up.
