Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:SHLD) soared 2% to $77.42 after it said its loss attributable to shareholders in the fiscal third quarter narrowed to $127 million, or $1.09 a share, from $146 million, or $1.16 a share, a year earlier. Revenue fell to $10.19 billion from $10.66 billion, while the adjusted loss for the quarter was 81 cents a share. Analysts had been expecting a loss of $1.05 a share on sales of $9.9 billion.
