The purchase order is for the company’s TissueMax™ Automated Tissue Microarrayer, which is an instrument that enables scientists and doctors to manufacture tissue microarrays rapidly and efficiently. Tissue Microarrays consist of printed human tissue cores from tumor samples, rejected organs and other sources. They are used for histological analysis of many patient samples simultaneously to better understand the molecular, cellular and immunological basis of cancer, organ rejection and other essential clinical applications. ARYC expects to book revenue and earnings from the purchase order in the third and the fourth quarter of this year.
