New IPOD TOUCH 3rd Gen LCD Replacement Service Announced

Broken LCD's in Apple's IPOD TOUCH Third Generation can be changed out for a small fee.

The leader in repairs for Apple's IPOD TOUCH and IPHONE, milliamp.com, has just announced that they can now replace the LCD in Apple's 3rd Generation iPOD TOUCH.

The LCD is the component that lays beneath the touch-sensitive glass, and displays all the vibrant colors and content the IPOD TOUCH is known for. Sometimes, if the device is dropped just right, the outer glass survives the fall, but the display underneath becomes damaged, resulting in distorted images, cracks, inky-looking spots, bright white screen, or absolutely no image at all. Should this happen, a new 3rd Generation IPOD TOUCH LCD is in order.

"While damage to an IPOD TOUCH LCD is somewhat uncommon, it happens enough to require our services, and we are happy to be able to provide it.", explained Magnabosco, owner of milliamp.com.

LCD replacement services for the IPOD TOUCH repair are available for all three generations of the wifi-accessing device, as well as outer glass/digitizer screens (a much more common repair). On the off chance that BOTH your LCD and your outer glass/digitizer screen were damaged, the team at milliamp.com will work out a discounted price for the IPOD repairs.

"We have the know-how, tools, and dedication to quality that our customers demand when they seek out IPOD TOUCH repairs.", added Magnabosco.

Interestingly, while the 3rd Generation iPOD TOUCH looks almost identical to the 2nd Generation model, the LCD is not interchangeable between the two devices - there are subtle differences in the connector that joins the LCD to the logic board.

In addition to providing LCD's for the IPOD TOUCH, milliamp.com can perform battery replacements, replace broken IPOD TOUCH screens, and even evaluate your device to figure out what is wrong with it if it has a less obvious problem. The online repair company also sells do-it-yourself battery replacement kits for the earlier IPOD models, and performs all sorts of repairs on Apple's IPHONE. The company even has a storefront for customers that happen to be in the area and need while-you-wait service.
