Pain and Gain: starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris and Rob Corddry. The action/adventure film centers on three bodybuilders who hatch a plan to extort money from a rich businessman through kidnapping and torture. Rated R
Kon-Tiki: starring Pål Sverre Hagen, Anders Baasmo Christiansen and Gustaf Skarsgård. The adventure film centers on Thor Heyerdahl’s 1947 voyage across the Pacific in a wooden raft. Heyerdahl hoped the voyage would prove his theory that South Americans could have settled Polynesia. Rated PG 13
The Reluctant Fundamentalist: starring Riz Ahmed, Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland. The drama centers on a Pakistani man who is torn between his country and his American dream. Rated R
