The contract states that Northrop Grumman will build five RQ Global Hawk high altitude- long-endurance unmanned aircraft systems for the 303d Aeronautical Systems Group at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio.
The contract runs through 2011.
Shares rose 20 cents to $54.70 in morning trading.
