Bible Professed Most Popular Book According To ChristiaNet Poll

Bible, the Word of God, is professed to be the most popular book according to http://christianblogs.christianet.com/.

ChristiaNet.com (http://www.christianet.com), the world's largest Christian portal with twelve million monthly page loads, surveyed readers on the popularity of God's Word by asking, "Is the Bible your favorite book?" An overwhelming majority of those polled said "yes." One participant said, "It has all the answers for life and is God's love letter to His people." It feeds the soul and provides answers to all of life's questions. Christians look to God's Word for healing, comfort, peace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and direction.

Out of 350 total responses, 320 call it their favorite and the most popular. It is evident by the overwhelming responses to this survey that most Christians believe that it is the infallible Word of God. One participant commented, "Reading the Bible is allowing God to speak to you deeply in your heart." Some say that reading God's Word everyday will transform a person. In God's Word we learn about ourselves and what Jesus has done for each of us. It instructs us to accept Jesus, to be reconciled with God through His Son.

Eighteen people surveyed said that it is not their favorite book. Some do not consider it a book at all but instead call it "a way of life." One person shared that they just don't like to read much but keep it close nonetheless. Others have many literary pieces that they love to read and are always finding a new favorite but recognize the Bible as the most popular. There are many works of literature to indulge in and quite a lot of them are inspirational but many people agree that none have influenced our culture like the Holy Bible.

Twelve participants were unsure about it being their favorite. They confessed to reading many other things, such as newspapers and magazines over reading God's Word. It seems that many people who participated in the survey recognize the need to read God's Word but oftentimes other things get in the way. Those who have learned to put God first realize that nothing can take its place in their life and it is worth making time for study and spending time with the Lord. The majority in this survey seem to recognize its importance to bring revelation and counsel to the reader.  For more information, visit: http://christianblogs.christianet.com/
