A poll on www.xfusenews.com is taking a tally of which 2008 Presidential candidate is the most popular in the early part of the race. "It will be interesting to see how the polls will change as each candidate's platform becomes available to potential voters," says Blaire Fanning of XFuseNews.com. "We are providing one more source for information about what the candidates stand for and invite all the candidates to post platform videos."
The site also is trying to attract the under 30 age group to share opinions online and encourage younger people to cast a vote. “I know I am guilty of spending a lot of time discussing my opinions online, but then have trouble realizing my vote really counts at the polls,” says, Shola Seals, a recent college graduate and resident of Tampa, Florida. Seals added, “I posted a video on the site and it feels good to know I might make a difference.”
"We know the internet will play an active roll in the 2008 election and are looking for ways to improve how information about political candidates is made available to the public," added Fanning. "Who knows what will prove most effective in getting candidates information to voters and just as importantly, citizens opinions to the candidates, but we are committed in helping with the process."
Additionally, viewers are invited to visit www.xfusenews.com and upload their own platform video or post their comments at the recently launched interactive news site. The site offers a central location to find links to all
