What's a great way to capture memories, especially around the holidays— than with a family portrait. To find out how to make the most out of a portrait session The Balancing Act has invited Picture People to the program. Tune in November 23rd at 7:30am (ET/PT) as they air on the Lifetime Network. Together they’ll show you how to turn your portraits into unique and special holiday gifts!
The Balancing Act also welcomes Picture People Studio Manager, Sarah Shepard who gives some great tips on how to make the most out of your portrait session. Sarah says, “For small children schedule your portrait session during your child's upbeat time of day, after naps and feedings, so that he can enjoy the experience. Arrive 10-15 minutes before your session to use this time to relax before the camera starts clicking. Another good idea is to bring along some personal props like, costumes, hats, or toys that showcase your child's personality.”
Sarah adds, “For family portraits, it's best to dress everyone in the same style, color or mood. Include other people in portraits with your baby or child, and don't forget your pets! They're part of the family too."
Picture People also shares great gift ideas for the holidays like, postcards, ornaments, gift tags, frames, and more. One less worry for those of you considering these personalized gifts is that professional studio’s like Picture People can have a fast turnaround time. Some, in the same day!
Picture People is proud to say that they’ve partnered with Toys For Tots this holiday season. Customers who bring a toy for Toys For Tots to one of their studios when they come in for their portrait session-- will get 2 FREE 8 X 10 portrait sheets.
Family portraits aren’t just for holiday cards. Just one portrait session can create a host of gift ideas to suit just about everyone on your holiday shopping list this season.
