Narconon Freedom Center Sauna Program Assists Hard-Core Addicts

In an ongoing evaluation and study of the Narconon Program, results show that the Narconon Freedom Center is highly effective in overcoming drug addiction.

In a presentation by Shelley L. Beckmann, Ph.D. at the International Conference on Human Detoxification, a long-term ongoing evaluation of the Narconon program was discussed. And the main portion of this discussion was on the Narconon New Life Detoxification Program, which was started to help reduce drug residues in the body and help to minimize physical drug cravings.

The sauna detoxification program consists of exercise to stimulate circulation, bathing in a dry and low-heat sauna, and nutritional supplements proven to assist detoxification.

The purpose of the study was to monitor the delivery and evaluate the success and the long-term efficacy of the Narconon program. Over a two-year period, 273 clients participated in this study, 81% of which were male the rest female. All were hard-core drug users of a variety of drugs, most of whom used crack cocaine, alcohol and other forms of cocaine. There were 12% that were heroin users, and the remainders were addicted to amphetamines, marijuana, LSD, PCP and other drugs.

The results showed that as the clients went through the sauna program the drug residues continued to be released until the residues were at 1/20th their initial levels and then continued to be released on a decreasing level for some weeks. This of course validating the detoxification portion of the Narconon program and showing that these residues can be significantly reduced with each client.

In addition, in a paper by Cecchini/LoPresti in  Medical Hypotheses, 2006 it specifically goes over the value of the Narconon New Life Detoxification Program. It reports in one study 249 subjects self-reported the severity of physical symptoms before and after the detoxification program. Physical symptoms dropped in severity by as much as 8 times.

The same report outlines another study that showed these drug residues being released from participants starting at a level of drug concentration at almost 200 ng/ml and then dropping to 0 as the program continued. This again validates the New Life Detoxification Program being able to release stored toxins and eliminate them safely and effectively from the body.  The result of doing so improves the individual’s physical symptoms as well as greatly reduces cravings and the urge to use drugs.

Successes reported from program participants indicate clearer thinking, having more energy, being happier and a feeling of physical well-being.

Clients who continue the Narconon program doing the remaining steps achieve a greater ability to communicate, increased self-control, stability, certainty to be able to function successfully in life and an ability to remain drug-free.
