The number three seeded Texas A&M Aggies hit 10 of 12 from the foul-line over the last 3:45 of the second half to knock off the number six seeded Louisville Cardinals 72-69 and advance to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament.
Down 70-69 with 29 seconds left in the game Edgar Sosa missed a pair of from the free throw line that would have given the Cardinals the lead. Sosa then missed a three-pointer with 10 seconds left that would have put Louisville in front.
Acie Law was able to seal the game from the line for the Aggies, hitting a pair with one second remaining. Law finished with 26 points in the game including 13-15 from the foul-line. Dominique Kirk added 21 points for the Aggies and Joseph Jones dropped 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
Sosa finished with 31 points in the game and was 15-17 from the foul-line, both misses from the line coming with 29 seconds left in the game.
