Partnership Between Bristol-Myers and Asterand Extended Three More Years

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Asterand PLC are extending a research partnership for up to three years.

 

With offices in Detroit and the United Kingdom, Asterand will continue to provide drug discovery services, human tissue and clinical samples to drugmaker Bristol-Myers Squibb that will, in turn, use the tissue and samples in research on potential drugs.

 

The companies, which entered into a three-year partnership in May 2007, did not disclose the financial terms.

 

Shares of Bristol-Myers rose 26 cents to $24.72 in morning trading.
