Carithers Flowers, the second generation, family-owned Atlanta florist, announced that it is celebrating two upcoming Atlanta area events that feature a similar focus on artistry, including the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park on September 5-8th and the 7th Annual Atlanta Arts Festival at Piedmont Park on September 14-15th.
The Yellow Daisy Festival has been voted as one of the top three arts and crafts show in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine and has won multiple awards. The four-day event includes entertainment, food, shopping and fun for everyone, including more than 400 artisans and crafts people from 38 states and two countries. The festival is free with paid parking.
The 7th Annual Atlanta Arts Festival is free and includes food, beverages, merchandise, live entertainment, classes and art demonstrations. Art is represented in a number of mediums, including jewelry, painting, photography, ceramics and sculpture, leather and metal and glass blowing just to name a few. This award-winning festival will appeal to art lovers of all ages, offering a chance to participate and learn different art forms as well as buy artwork from some of the country’s most talented artists.
