John Kerry Daughter Will Not Be Prosecuted for DUI

Los Angeles authorities announced Monday criminal charges will not be filed against John Kerry’s daughter Alexandra Kerry. Kerry, 36, was arrested November 19 for suspicion of DUI.

“We reviewed the arrest report and have declined to file criminal charges due to insufficient evidence,” says Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan.

Last week, a spokesman for the Kerry family said Alexandra’s passed a breathalyzer test. “Alexandra Kerry was pulled over for an expired registration and was released after the results of a breathalyzer test at the police station were under the legal limit,” said spokeswoman Jodi Seth. “Senator Kerry supports his daughter and will have no further comment on a private matter.”
