Memphis was able to get to the foul-line 34 times in the game, twice as many as the Wolf Pack. The Tigers knocked down 26 of their attempts compared to 15 for Nevada.
Both teams struggled a bit from the floor as Memphis hit 39 percent from the field while Nevada finished shooting 36 percent on the night.
Chris Douglas-Roberts and Jeremy Hunt each had 16 points for the Tigers while Antonio Anderson added 14 points and 10 rebounds, Joey Dorsey had 8 points and 9 rebounds and Robert Dozier had 9 points and 8 rebounds.
Fazekas finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds for Nevada.
Memphis will now take on Texas A&M in the Sweet Sixteen.
