Wadjda, starring Reem Abdullah, Waad Mohammed, Abdullrahman Al Gohani, Ahd and Sultan Al Assaf, opens in theaters Friday, September 13. The drama centers on a young Saudi girl who hopes to win a Koran recitation competition at her school and use the prize money to purchase a bicycle.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 37 minutes and is rated PG for brief mild language, thematic elements and smoking.
