Missing Boy Scout Reportedly Found Safe
Searchers have reportedly found the 12-year-old Boy Scout that disappeared from a campsite in North Carolina on Saturday.
Michael Auberry was on a camping trip with his Scout troop this past weekend but apparently wandered off into the wilderness and became lost. For the past four days searchers have been combing the area in hopes of finding the missing boy as concerns grew over the dipping overnight temperatures.
When Scout leaders discovered that Michael was missing they began their own search and notified park rangers. Searches found snack wrappers and a mess kit used by Auberry about ½ a mile from the campsite.
On Tuesday the searchers located the boy, safe, about 1 ½ miles from where he went missing.
